The Senior Consultant will be an integral part of the North American Commercial Consulting team, providing assistance throughout the entire Customer Lifecycle of a MarkLogic-based solution.
Responsibilities
The Senior Consultant is a customer-facing, billable position chartered with engaging customers in a consultative capacity and providing specialized expertise on implementing MarkLogic-based data management, search, and analytics solutions. The Senior Consultant will participate in all aspects of software life cycle using Agile software development methodologies.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Participating in requirements and design workshops with our clients
- Designing and developing code, scripts and data pipelines that leverage structured and unstructured data integrated from multiple sources
- Installing and configuring MarkLogic software
- Developing project deliverable documentation
- Working solo or as part of team for MarkLogic centered solutions
- Reporting on assigned tasks
- Collaborating with clients to define future MarkLogic products
Interaction
This position is a customer-facing position. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers is required. Ability to understand customer requirements and our products and then combine and translate that information into increased customer success is critical to your success.
This position operates in a team-oriented environment. As a result, the candidate must build and maintain strong and effective working relationships internally with other consultants, the sales team, sales engineers, product management, customer support, and product marketing.
Supervision
This is an individual contributor position.
